Positives:
Good selection at breakfast but small area and so did get quite busy. Food quality is ok. The kitchen staff were so friendly and lovely. Good location, with shops in walking distances. Easy to get an Uber to the beach or a nice walk. Room size was good for a family of 4 and nice to have the kitchen area.
Negatives:
Sofa bed was uncomfortable. We had fleas in our room and when reported to reception there was not an apology or any cause for concern. They advised they would send maintenance with barely a glance up from their desk. Disappointed by this service and had to request a room change. I provided direct feedback to the hotel only to be told that there were no fleas and I must have been confused with mosquito’s despite having photos and physically finding fleas.

I liked the size of the room and the proximity to the Manhattan beach pier and to the office that I was going to. I liked the breakfast, and the staff was friendly.
Negatives:
I didn't like that the room was not refreshed every other day as stated in the contract when I checked in. The room only had one roll of toilet paper and the towels I had to ask for new ones at the front desk, because the room was not refreshed.

I reserved and paid in advance for a NEWLY RENOVATED studio at the Residence Inn Marriott Hotel. However, I received an OLD, STINKY AND DAMAGED studio. I immediately complained at the front desk. They said I have get in the check in line again, so I waited another 20 minutes and I received almost the same studio. This unit was also stinky, old with a dirty and damaged walls/ bathroom. I complained again, they said: “All of our rooms are the same”. In addition, I was at the hotel at 11.30 for check in, but they DID NOT PROVIDED THE ROOM, BECAUSE I PAID VIA B…….COM, according to the front desk. I HAD TO WAIT UNTIL 4PM. However, other guests received the room immediately.

Breakfast is good for nothing, the Newly Renovated Studio, the hotel’s employees, etc..

The breakfast is great. The room has everything you need for cooking Target is 3 minutes away walking.
Negatives:
In five nights that we stayed there, they did not change our towels and did not take out the trash. I could have said something, of course, but I didn't. The swimming pool is there but too small to really swim.

I could hear everything upstairs. The walls were very thin. The volume didn't work on the TV. The wifi went in and out when using Netflix.
