Positives:
The maximum parking charge for hotel guests is a major drawback! The location and area around the hotel is very nice. Comfortable room and the bathroom.

The WiFI is slow, and not up to expectations.
Parking before the hotel is not free, but maximum charges are applied! One would assume that the price would have been lower for hotel guests! When booking a room, we checked the parking filter, and the price was stated somewhere underneath our booking summary, which we consider very misleading. The receptionist should have warned us about the additional costs. Especially since the parking is right next to the hotel and it even bothered us at night when the cars were moved around.

The location, the room, the pool

I was really disappointed with our stay here. Probably won’t do it again. Our family (2 adults-1 child) and another family (2 adults - 4 kids) came to celebrate the 4th of July Checkin was at 4 and by the time we got situated we took the kids to the pool around 6 got out around 8. Note here we were given towels at the pool and it was breezy and cold when we got the kids out. The Security guard at the pool asked the kids to give him back the towels before they went to the room so we have 5 young kids and adults running up in the hotel wet and cold. Seems like an odd setup, not sure why we weren’t allowed to bring the towels to the room. That being the case maybe let pp know so they bring their own towels. We came down for the fireworks and to get dinner around 8:45. The kids were starving as they had just swam. I walked to the restaurant and asked if I could order some food or appetizers and I was told it was too late they already did last call, I mentioned we had hungry kids. Basically sorry can’t help you. So we watched the fire works and while doing that we tried to order Door Dash. Unknowingly to us the roads were shut down in the area and the Door Dash deliverer was not allowed to get thru. I asked if there were any options to get food and I was told no everything in the hotel closed at 9pm. Why would you do that when the fireworks were at 9! We and I’m sure many people would have loved to have had food and drinks during and after. So…. Now everyone in our group was hungry every other restaurant around was closed and my husband and I tried to get to the closest McDonalds which because of the closed roads was miles away. It took us an hour to get back. Our son finally go to eat at midnight. The other family got their food at 1:30am. We were tired and stressed out.
Would have to say won’t do it again. The Hotel staff was not helpful…I was told oh well Corporate has its rules. Because of the location and the traffic once you are at the hotel you are almost trappe

Everything about the hotel was amazing, the ambiance,the cleaness, friendly staff , It's such a great and beautiful, it was easy to go to Beverly hills and Hollywood. I would stay here again.

Location: Very nice to be able to take a run in the morning along the harbor.
The gym: That they had a gym.
Restaurant: Nice breakfast, with real silverware and napkins.
Valet parking: Good, nice, inviting.

Receptionist in lobby: Early in the morning, when I was going out for a run, I needed to seek her attention in order to say 'good morning' (I am a women), but 1 hour later when my husband also joined / passing to go to the restaurant, the receptionist gladly said hi (because he was with me?).
Location: Not so much else to do in the area in walking distance, but I guess in LA you always go by car.
No breakfast: Not included, I like when it is a European buffet.

Fresh and nice location with...
Positives:
Everything. Great location. Walked to Trader Joe’s and some nice eateries. Best room location 3 rd floor overlooking the gorgeous marina and when there was music…. At the lounge. It was like a private best concert. We had the best hamburgers at the property restaurant and oysters.
Chloe at the front desk was the best. Got us checked in early. I had upgraded our room prior and boy was it worth it. Can’t wait to return!!

Positives:
This hotel was one of the most affordable options near the beach with a decent rating. However, the only aspect we truly appreciated was the bed and bedding, which were exceptionally comfortable.
Negatives:
On the downside: (1) The carpets throughout were not very clean. (2) The room had an unpleasant smell from the furniture and a dirty fridge. (3) The air conditioning system and fridge were noisy. (4) The reception staff didn't explain the charges, including any deposits. (5) The location is quite far from everything.
