The clean facilities, helpful staff especially the valets..though we didn't have a car they were friendly and helpful. All of the staff were so welcoming and friendly. It's a beautiful hotel, in a gorgeous location.

Amazing stay, beautiful hotel
Positives:
Nice, updated facility. The valet is $45 and gave great service!! Very clean. Beds were very comfortable. Definitely get the marina view worth every penny. We saw sea lions every morning :) and the view is beautiful!
Negatives:
Our room was on the second floor overlooking the outdoor dining portion of the restaurant. A little awkward to sit outside with people looking and staring at you lol.

Lovely location away from the hustle and bustle of LA. Lovely area around the marina with a good choice of restaurants in walking distance. Nancy the receptionist recommended a great sight-seeing trip which meant we could see everything we wanted without trying to drive around and park in LA

The location was beautiful, ideal really! Bed very comfortable. Staff very cordial and nice.
Negatives:
There was a loud pool party on arrival and then a loud film and fork party at night until 10pm. There was no one manning the coffee shop in the morning at 8 because of a staff shortage.

LOVE the location and the...
Positives:
Beautiful facility and rooms surrounded by a harbor of yachts. Pool is small but great to lounge by. The poolside rooms have lounging couches in their terraces. Restaurant is excellent, but you can easily walk to several in nearby shopping malls. Staff is fabulous. We were there to drop off daughter at LMU and learned there is a special rate if you can book via the school. Will have to check that out.

Room over looked the marina, and also witnessed a few otters in water alongside the boats!
Within walking distance (if walking is part of your routine) to Venice beach
Restaurant & Bar at the hotel had an amazing selection and the food was delicious- staff was attentive too!
Negatives:
My only criticism is that I hate having my first cup of coffee in a paper cup, especially given the rate of the room.
Plus it is not so great for the environment to add more garbage! Paper cups which are covered in plastic wrapping...yuck!
