Positives:
I like that the place was able to fulfill our request to have two rooms together so we could have family close. I also liked that the windows were able to be opened and the rooms were generally pretty clean.
Negatives:
The room had a strong smell of fragrance spray when we entered. I appreciate the effort to keep it clean, but I think there was too much used. We had to open the door and windows for about an hour to air the room out.
I didn't like that one of our rooms had an unfunctional toilet. The floater that regulates the water refill was broken which caused the water to constantly refill thus making the toilet unfunctional. The noise from the refilling water caused my younger brother to wake up at night multiple times. I know for a fact that the people running the location know about this problem. When I asked them if the broken toilet wouldn't cause any extra charges on our bill, I was told it was fine because they knew about it.
I know this may be standard practice in the motel industry, but I also didn't like how they raised prices for the specific days we were staying. I think it's unprofessional and unethical to not only charge full price but to raise prices when a basic amenity isn't even functional.

Air conditioner didn't work phone to call desk didn't work. Front desk person was not friendly. Refrigerator made clicking noise all night. TV was very small. Bathroom door didn't shut. There were no washcloths. Microwave looked 30 years old and didn't heat well. Coffee pot only filled 1/3 of cup with coffee. I thought we were supposed to get breakfast but when I asked he told me no very rudely.
