Positives:
The room was completely clean, and nice and quiet. The sound of traffic/cars wasn't too bad, minus the occasional motorcycle speeding past. The staff was nice and friendly, but outside of checking in/checking out we didn't encounter them much. Wifi was good, and they did offer breakfast but we didn't have time to go.
Negatives:
There were no elevators from what I could see, so if you can't climb stairs you'll need to request a room on the first floor.

Positives:
The hotel was mostly what I was expecting: efficient use of space, neat, etc. The breakfast was basic and easy to get from the lobby (coffee, muffins, oatmeal). The staff was also kind whenever we needed anything.
Negatives:
The one thing I noticed was that the floors were dirty. They were plain laminate or wooden floor but I’d recommend bringing slippers or just wearing your shoes around if you don’t want your feet to get dirty.

Clean and comfortable but need...
Positives:
While the outside was noisy due to the highway and cell tower, inside the room was actually quiet. I slept well.
Negatives:
It's as if they took a Public Storage self-storage facility and added beds and plastic-lined showers in the storage units. There was a separate front desk, but the clerk wasn't out in front either time I went. There's no staff at all overnight. There are kitchenettes, but no utensils or cooking implements unless you ask. There's no housekeeping. There's no SHAMPOO. Actually, if you go to the front desk and someone is there, they will give you the tiniest shampoo bottle you've ever seen. All the second floor units require walking up stairs -- good luck if you're disabled or your luggage is heavy.
Also, while the location is centrally located in Silicon Valley, it's right off a cloverleaf in one direction, and requires a U-turn a half mile down the road in the other direction. It's pretty hard to get to!
Also, also, while this is billed as basic lodging and hotels in Silicon Valley are notoriously expensive, this isn't actually a good value. Maple Tree Inn costs the same and is much nicer.
