Clean, updated, great driving location from Yosemite Valley, continental breakfast with many options available.
Positives:
We liked the location because it's in close proximity to Yosemite National Park. As 'Essential' brand in IHG group the hotel delivers basic products and services only. There is a large parking lot right in front of the hotel and it was free of charge. We had a coffee machine in our room for free.
Negatives:
There was a broken (but somewhat functional) bathroom sink. We couldn't miss to notice the limescale built up on shower head. Generally, the bathroom was not seem to be clean at all. There were some stains on towels that appeared to be as blood stains. We were suggested not to drink tap water, and to use (only one) water fountain in the lobby (also not properly cleaned). We were not given bottled water. Nobody cleans tables during the breakfast, dirty chairs and tables are all around the dining lot. There is not a huge selection of food for breakfast. Broken items are not being replaced or fixed, so it does not make any sense to collect deposits when checking in. There was no supply of shower gel (empty container), only a small soap bar.
