Holiday Inn Sacramento Downtown - Arena

Negatives: Dining room hours posted were wrong it was closed before posted hours. We did not get the breakfast buffet but only coffee and muffins and yogurt which were quite expensive.

Negatives: Our rooms bathroom sink was full of black water, we called the front desk and they were sending someone to fix it. an hour later no one showed up and the sink started overflowing and gushing water all over the bathroom. They found us a new room. That rooms a/c stopped working around 11pm that night, on a 93 degree day. Our sleep was miserable, and not wanting to switch rooms at midnight, we dealt with it. We also had a separate charge on our card for $31.54 from the hotel, no clue what that charge is for as it’s not on our receipt. I will never stay there again.

Negatives: The lobby area was too cold . It was unpleasant having dinner so we didn’t stay and have extra drinks .

Negatives: I was not disappointed by this place at all, maybe the view from the room could have been better but this place checked all the boxes. I tried to stay an additional night and the rate provided was a bit excessive for a Tuesday night but front desk was very accessible and helpful with all requests I had.

Negatives: Having complimentary breakfast.

Negatives: We had to ask for a bed kit for the sofa bed. At check in the lady even called housekeeping requesting for a bed kit to be dropped off but it wasn’t delivered.

Negatives: Discount the parking more

Negatives: I don’t like that we had to pay extra for parking. That should be included in the stay. There was also different rates if you chose in the front or in the garage and again that should be included in the stay.
