Beautiful, large, clean, accommodation. Superb location, view, parking, and proximity to restaurant variety.
Negatives:
No hair conditioner in shower. No sofa in living room, only two chairs, and without footstools. No TV in the bedroom. Parking for studios requires deep dip in driveway which threatens car undercarriage. No housekeeping during 4-day stay. Checkin staff was exceptionally kind, professional, and courteous. Checkout staff was indifferent, unprofessional, and defensive attitude when I noted that despite leaving towels outside the door for pick up by housekeeping, as instructed, my room was overlooked. Instead of apologizing, the young woman blamed me, in a chastising tone, telling me I shouldve let her know (The housekeeper, by contrast was immediately apologetic. She is a true professional.) The check-out young woman just needs a little more training regarding the meaning of hospitality if she intends to pursue this career. Otherwise, an overall generally excellent experience at Seahorse.

Room type was changed due to what they called a mechanical issue. They did not disclose that the issue was that there was a landslide on the property which made the outdoor area. Inaccessible .The room We were relocated to was adjacent to the busy street and the very street lights lit the room where I slept on the pull out couch. They should have installed darkening shades, in addition to that translucent privacy shades

Loved the location right by the pier/beach! The ocean view was outstanding. The room was clean and nicely done.

The only thing we disliked was the shower drained very slowly and backed up a little. The bed could have been a little softer as well.

Wonderful space close to the beach that allows you to spend optimal time on the beach.

The receptionist was perky and lively. The location across the street from the beach, Pacific Ocean and San Clemente Pier is ideal. The complimentary coffee at the associated Creperie next door is a nice amenity. The king bed is quite good as are the sheets and four pillows
Negatives:
The property is dated, musty and not topnotch at over $300 a night for a small ocean view studio on a non-busy weekday in October. The onsite parking while complimentary too is tight and low. The property notes parking for one compact car per room. Three tight spaces under the building on the street are indeed tight. The rear gate on our compact Ford SUV rental hits the ceiling and the doors barely open when another car is parked on either side. Opt for a garage nearby.
The showed is not in the bathroom and is old and rusty with a plastic door
