Very clean, great quality of the shower supplies (shampoo, body lotion, soap, conditioner). Comfy bed and delicious breakfast (omelet, sausage, potatoes, boiled eggs, oat meal, waffles, oranges, yogurt ...)
The staff was so nice and let us check out 1 hour later. Very convenient they have computer and printer in the lobby, that you can use for no charge if you need. Tea, coffee anx water station is also always available there.
Free shuttle bus to and from the airport.
Negatives:
Had difficulties to slide heavy bathroom door, and it's not locking. I wish that the shuttle bus would run a little bit longer hours. And for breakfast would be nice to have some fresh vegetables (tomatoes or cucumber)

The location is perfect, easy access while peaceful and quiet at the same time. Great gym, pool and laundry room.
Facilities are newish, which is rare for San Diego hotels that all seem to date back to a century ago. If this hotel was better managed, it would be fantastic.
Negatives:
Room smelly. Maybe due to the windows not opening at all affecting air circulation.
The breakfast assistant was overwhelmed and the breakfast buffet ran out of food, resulting in a waiting time. The hotel staffs, including cleaners need to be better managed. Perhaps more training on how to deep clean a carpet?

Nice view of the marina from the even numbered third floor room.
Breakfast was adequate to get you started, but you will be needing a mid day snack.
Negatives:
Our shower had poor water pressure. I informed the staff and they were appreciative to know. My friend's room had super pressure though.
