Location within walking distance to downtown San Diego. Covered parking garage, good breakfast, friendly staff. Good facilities (indoor pool & gym)

The only positive thing is the location of the hotel. Close to the promenade and Little Italy, you will find delicious food.
Negatives:
The trouble started already at check-in. The receptionist issued us and another family with keys to the same room. “Unscrewing” the unfortunate situation took more than half an hour. The hotel has three antique elevators, only one functioning, taking only six people as recommended (which was not followed). Because of this, chaos reigned. What's worse, one day, this elevator broke down twice, in the morning and the evening. The hotel staff was helpless. I am elderly, and twice, I had to get to my room on the 5th floor by the stairs! As for housekeeping, towels, and bathroom cleaning were done every other day, while bed linens were not changed even once! And I spent five nights in this hotel.

Hotel itself is great location close to harbour, little Italy and others

Breakfast was probably the worst experience I have ever seen. Eating on paper plate with plastic fork and knife. No cheese, no vegetable, no fresh bakery.... Only apple or banana from fruit. It was a real disappointment for me.

I was double billed at check-in, and despite numerous visits to reception, I was assured it would be rectified. On check-out there was still hold on my card, and it was over a week later before it was rectified. Of the 3 guest elevators only 1 worked throughout our stay. The airport being so close, I did expect a shuttle service, but nothing available

Elevator were not working, we had to climb 4 floors every time we need to reach the room. We asked to change the bed linen when we woke up because when we slept the day before we identified a strong smell of pee. When we returned late at night to sleep, the room had not even be tidied, much less the bed linen had been changed. When checking out, the employee didn’t even listen to feedback about theses facts.
