Positives:
Great location! Room was very comfortable; pool is small but good for our use.
Fitness center was great, with new equipment. Breakfast on the restaurant was great!
Negatives:
Front desk service was not very knowledgeable, I had to ask about breakfast to get details. Breakfast is not served by hotel, instead you get a voucher to use on the restaurant connected to the hotel. That was not clear when I made the reservation but turn out to be a great breakfast, and we only had to pay for the difference that was actually the tip. Parking: I found a spot nearby for just $16/day instead of paying $55.- at the hotel.

The staff was very unprofessional, including the parking staff, it seems that everyone that works there pawns you off to someone when a problem arises and nobody is willing to find a solution or get a answer for you, for 300 dollars a night you would expect different but I got the alternative results and was very disappointed in my stay.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Hayan notified us that our room was ready and followed up to see how our stay was going. Our room was spacious, clean, and I loved the couch. I really loved the personalized greeting on the TV screen; I've never experienced that before and it was a very nice touch! :) The location is excellent and we walked to the USS Midway Museum and Waterfront Park for the SoCal Tacofest.
Negatives:
I wish we knew ahead of time that self-parking is not available. It would be helpful if travelers knew in advance that parking is $55.00 per day.

Hotel accepts pets but not pet friendly. Homeless everywhere and no where on the grounds of hotel to bathroom pets.
Negatives:
Not pet friendly/No self parking/expensive valet. Front desk and valet would not provide luggage cart. Said they must be scattered around the grounds, but we could clearly see them stored in the security office.
