We usually stay here every time we go to San Diego; it was our go-to place.
Negatives:
Last couple of times had a few homeless people hanging out in the area; not sure if they're doing renovating or just tearing down the hotels but the area was not the same. This time a couple of people were in front, in the way of us going into our building, They were arguing and it sounded like the guy hit the girl once we went inside. Elevator was not clean. Lots of noise overnight clearly hearing people talking when walking by kids running up and down the hall. There was some noise that we kept hearing and didn't know where it was coming from but it lasted all night.

The rooms were dirty, the elevator wasnt working, there was a horrible smell in the hallway and the room. I was there for two nights and not once did housekeeping come to clean the room. Would not recommend, horrible experience.

Nice reason to be priced hotel. Had microwave and refrigerator in the room, beds were comfortable and clean bathroom was clean. Had coffee and lobby in the morning. Pretty easy to get to off the 8th. Would be nice to have coffee in the room though.

Hotel room was clean. Staff is really nice. Good location just a little ways away from food. Been there a few times, recommend the place for anybody looking for a decent place to stay. Coffee in the morning in the lobby. Will definitely stay again.

Great location and the people working there is just top notch.
Negatives:
The room we got (118) the front door didn't close fully so it gave us the creeps also the bathroom door didn't close fully and there was a smell of tobaco even tho it was a no smoking room.
