Motel 6-San Diego CA - Downtown

Negatives: The hotel is poorly managed and understaffed and the staff who are there aren't very qualified. They ran out towels while I was there. I wasn't able to check in till an hour and a half after the designated time. The surrounding areas are a little sketchy. I saw at least two prostitutes working the area and using the hotel. The rooms are very small and cramped, you can tell the poor conditions they're in . The whole building smells of cigarette smoke and failure. Probably wouldn't stay here more than a night.

Negatives: The room was "surface" cleaned. The sheets were full of hair from past guests. Bedding and pillows not laundered. Floors turned feet black. "Clean" towels had visible black and brown stains. Housekeeping bought yellow tinted "clean" sheets to replace bedding that had not been changed between reservations. Towels were lacking. Toilet had dried feces behind seat. Bathtub was cracked and had burn marks. Hallway had beer cans. Neighbor loitering next my door. (Asked to be moved) Neighbors in new room were up all night making noise from the 4th floor. Drug and Prostitution activity in the front of the building at all hours of the day and night.

Negatives: The staff neglected to bring fresh towels for 2 days or housekeeping and screen wasn't on window

Negatives: My bike was stolen at your premises. It was locked and parked between the hotel and the outside wall. Hotel employees did not want to take any responsibility; the only comment: copy should have taken it up to your room. Not very normal for a hotel. Maybe I should have know better in an area with a lot of homeless and drug addicts. I would appreciate if the hotel assurance could cover my damage of $ 450? Negatives: Room needed a little attention. There was a curtain that was burned on one of the visible corners and the bed spread had hole in it. More towels should be provided. There was a musty smell and I believe someone may have smoked in the room. A microwave in the room would be nice.
