I’ve always loved the location.

We were there for a wedding that started 30 min after check in time. I tried arranging for an early check in for several days leading up to the event, but it was very difficult getting someone on the phone. When I did, they said “just call back the day of.” I called back, left a message, and finally got a response after several hours, which by then was minutes away from the original check in time of 4pm. That’s another thing. 4pm check in is ridiculous. And paying for non existent parking was lame.

I would have liked individual dining instead of buffet. Supplies i.e. hand lotion only one stingy in the room—no shower cap in the room or at the desk. Could not accommodate early check-in or late check-out without a fee. There were plenty of fees on the bill.. No washcloths in the room after the cleaning service cleaned the room. Pool was noisy and could not nap in the room.

We did have a few service issues with the tv and internet. All issues were resolved in a timely manner I appreciated the dailymaid service.Its been awhile since I've seen that level of service. They were very attentive and friendly .The location was very covenient to the fishing boats and Point Loma . Grounds were well kept.

Though the accomodations were a bit small, it was very clean and somewhat updated . The lanai provided some extra room.. It wiuld have been nice to have a love seat or a lounge chair in the room so thre would be a place to relax.

Location was great, close to beaches and parks and downtown San Diego. All the plants around the property were very pretty and nice to walk along the bay/marina area.
Negatives:
We couldn’t check into our room at 4pm because it wasn’t ready. I had to ask for a different room so we wouldn’t have to wait longer. They did comp us breakfast because of the inconvenience. The new room was by the pool which was loud with screaming kids so not as relaxing as it would have been in our original room location.
