The staff was great! I read some bad reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. No drug deals right out front. It is in a downtown area of a California city so it was about what I expected.
Negatives:
The room was basic. No art on the walls and the ?entertainment center? was a wood shelf and you could see all the cords.

The beds are too low (10?), the carpets are filthy, the chairs are ridiculously narrow, hard and uncomfortable and the accommodations are too minimalist.

The neighborhood is a bit rough and the hotel?s cafe was unfortunately closed.

This hotel is not clean! Upon entering the hotel were several homeless & it smelled strongly of urine. The flooring is filthy! The shower calking was peeling off & several long hairs were waiting for me in the tub. I am glad I didn't have a blacklight!!!!

The heroin zombies seem to gather near this hotel. I dont understand what the resort fee was for. No explanation about the amenities. We were assigned ADA rooms we didnt need then overheard a couple at the desk who needed one and it wasnt available.

The room was very disappointing. Carpet was stained throughout the room, tub had a dark ring on the floor and looked dirty, the bed is almost on the floor and the ac unit barely worked. The location is in a bad side of town

All the additional surprise fees. I asked the front desk for something and they said they would send it to the room. They never did, and when I spoke to the front desk 3 hours later, his response was well, that was the other guy before me

The area is not the best even though it is close to various museums but I would never walk alone especially at night. The hotel doesn't have a bar or nothing. The rooms are very poorly furnished. Not even an extra mirror in the room.

The location was perfect for my needs, though nowhere Id feel safe walking around alone as a woman after dark.

This felt more like a three star hotel. The room was sparsely decorated, and the sheets made me itch. Theres no mini bar or robes. The vending machine sells Narcan. Litter remained in the halls and elevators all day.

Yes, room was not clean. Floor around toilet looked dirty. We had pink lipstick or nail polish on one of our towels (not from us). Dirty spots in the bathtub. Hair on the bed sheets. Stains on carpet. No charging stations for Tesla vehicle.

Rooms were disgusting, huge bleach stain on carpet, dirty carpet, filthy window, communal microwave located down the hall. This is not a 4 Star hotel!
