Joyec reception was very helpful during check-in and check-out because my visa was declined.
Negatives:
Zero isolation, you hear everything around you, and nosie of lighting slides in the bathroom and mini bar beside the bed and a bad smell in the room.

The hotel is very old and not worth the price honestly. We were put in a room outside of the main hotel which was pretty much like a motel. The carpet was stained.

Location was very convenient to the BART, the conference I attended, and tourist attractions.

The bathroom was nice and big
Negatives:
They were doing construction in front of the building so you had to walk under the building structures. I missed it the first go around because of that. I was worried I'd feel unsafe, but they kept the walkway very bright.
I upgraded to a queen room, but the bed was smaller than I expected (probably a full).

The rooms were definitely not what they appeared in the picture. There was roaches in the bathroom and the windows didn’t have any guard rails which is completely unsafe. The Ac in my room also wasn’t working I called the staff to come check it out and no one ever came up. Extremely disappointed
