They each have a view of Union Square or the city skyline. A fitness center is part of the hotel. The reception desk is staffed 24-hours a day. Good location. Good-sized, clean, comfortable room. Felt safe. Price was reasonable, given the location and that it included a good breakfast.

Reception forgot to give you a voucher for breakfast, which caused a bit of confusion there. Bathroom fan was on the louder side, but manageable.

Were not given the size room we reserved, beds were uncomfortable, could hear clearly everything going on in the rooms around us all night and down the entire hallway. Slept very little and were sore from trying.
Edit after response: Didn't realize we were in a smaller room until we returned to our room around 11pm. No point complaining about the noise - it wasn't people partying, it was just doors opening and closing, people flushing toilets and walking down the hallway, and the elevators going up and down - and we weren't close the elevators. There's no reason to believe any other room would be better.

Very helpful and friendly staff, nice and comfortable room, great bar/lounge, very clean accomodation, hotel offers free tea/coffee throughout the day
Negatives:
Unclear breakfast payment rules with vouchers; somehow "risky" neighborhood, especially at night with many drug addicts; expensive and unsecured car parking lot next to hotel, better and cheaper to use public parking below Union Square

Decent breakfast. Good service and a the resort fee is actually something you'll use.
Negatives:
Its an older building so the hallways are a bit narrow. The location is OK but its right on the edge of the tenderloin so nighttime can be a bit sketchy.

Lovely hotel with excellent staff. The location is a little rough...to no fault of the hotel/staff there is a garden bar directly next door which had extremely loud music playing that could be heard (and felt) even on the 14th floor from 3pm to at least 7pm. Thankfully by the time we returned from a night at the ballet (past 11pm), the bar was closed and our room was actually quite peaceful.
