The location was convenient for the Chinese Consulate and Japan Town has many interesting shops and restaurants, while still being less noisy and chaotic than the downtown area. The parking being available in the garage below was convenient.
Negatives:
The room was adequate, but quite pricey for what you got. The bathroom was a bit odd: they seem to have tiled over where a bath tub once was. They bill themselves as a "boutique hotel", but that is just marketing. There is nothing special about this place. It is just a chain hotel with some exposed pipes and city maps painted on the walls.

Positives:
The hotel location was good for getting around and easy to find nearby transportation. The breakfast was presented well and had a lot of choice and the quality of food items available was very good. The limited proper seating for breakfast was not the best but acceptable.
Negatives:
The attached restaurant I have to say was just OK, but not exceptional in my humble opinion. The menu was limited considering that Thai food was the specialty.
