Beautiful property. Very friendly staff. Near BART/light rail lines & easy to get to other areas of the city. Great pool & rooftop deck.
Negatives:
Overall area is good, but if you walk one block in the wrong direction you’ll be in the thick of it.

Beautiful hotel with great views....
Positives:
Good facilities including pool, sauna and gym
Offered a choice of a higher room which gave us great views over the union square building
Room itself was well kept and clean
Negatives:
Some of the hallways around the hotel were slightly smelly making it feel less clean
Staff were friendly but didn’t necessarily go the extra mile
Some degree of nickle and diming with lots of hidden extra charges for things such as items in the room, delivery of room service etc
Location is near market street which is centra however very much in the centre of the huge homelessness issue in San Francisco (infact somebody was shot by police at the closest metro station during our stay)
