Hotel facilities were good with an excellent indoor pool and staff were really helpful, particularly the concierge team.
Negatives:
Location - Whilst the hotel was convenient for Union Square there is a problem with the homeless population in San Francisco generally and the hotel's location is not ideal in that sense, particularly in the area heading towards Market Street. We felt uncomfortable in this area, particularly at night.

Very comfortable, quiet, and well designed room. Friendly and professional staff who accommodated my wishes at check-in and fixed any small issues very promptly. Perfect location for getting around SF. A very smooth and enjoyable stay at Nikko.
