Positives: Really like the "old" style building, the decor was very nice, the room was adequate size for 2 friends, the whole hotel was well looked after and clean and the location was good for being near the metro, the tram etc.

Negatives: I like the hotel itself, but sadly I felt being in downtown San Francisco was not safe.
