Negatives: Had a couple of issues with shower not being hot enough during our stay, 1st time we just left it and second time we reported it and the sent someone up just to tell us they would reset the water heater. Bathroom didn’t have a proper closing window, so noise from protests and large exhaust fans made it quite loud

Positives: The location is very central and great (in Tenderloin, but not a seedy part). We had a wonderful room with east side *and* west side windows! The room was large enough for family of four, with coffee/tee machine and safe. The staff was very friendly. The lobby was nifty and well-equipped (games, pool table, seating for coffee+pastry in the morning).

Negatives: BED BUG ALERT!!! Bed bugs in room 505. The night shift staff was kind enough and switched us to another room, which does not have any hot water in the shower. The night shift staff passed me the manager Stephanie's email. I send email with photos and videos for update, till the time I write this review. no reply at all. Next day, I've shared the info to the daytime staff Vivian. Vivian does not want to take any ownership of this problem and differ us to Stephanie the manager, who ignored our email chains completely. My problem was not resolved and I did not get any update after that whatsoever. Homeless around the neighbourhood and yelling in the ally during the whole night. Worst accommodation experience I ever had over the world.

Negatives: The area around the hotel is scary at night. Many homeless people going around. This is the same problem in downtown Los Angeles. Better to avoid downtown areas at night while traveling in Cali.
