Rooms are ancient. Half the plug points weren’t working, room was too small with a beautiful view of the Walgreens. Felt pretty suffocated in the room overall.

Stayed here last time 10 years ago. It was a great stay then, and it was a great stay now. Great hotel for an affordable price tag. Did not experience any problems: welcoming staff, fast check-in / check-out, clean room and bathroom, comfortable bed.

Quiet room with a comfortable bed and good curtains, which made for great sleep. 24h gym was well-equipped. Location was very nice: a bit north of Union Square/SOMA (which I've found to be seedy in the past), but still with very good transit.

Room decor/style was a bit dated, but this wasn't really an issue.
