Took us 20 minutes to check in because the only staff member behind the counter was busy helping one couple with credit card problems. Finally a female came out to do our check in and she wasn’t happy to be there.

Lobby area is nice. Room is spacious and clean, and they graciously allowed for early check-in which was greatly appreciated. The location was extremely near to the Metro exit (1 min away) and also relatively close to Union Square. There were places to fill your water bottle which is helpful when travelling.
Negatives:
Location can be a little quiet. Best to Uber directly back to the hotel once it gets dark.

Once I actually stayed in the hotel I booked it was acceptable

When I Arrived, after calling in advance and informing the hotel directly that I had a late arrival, I was assured that my room would be booked for me once it was cleaned so it would be ready when I arrived. Unfortunately, when I arrived I was told that my room was sold to someone else and that they were full. I was sent to the sister property a few blocks away being told that a room was waiting for me there and after about an hour of waiting, I was told that in fact I would have to stay at a hotel in Oakland as the sister property was Also full., Given that I had a meeting early the next morning back in San Francisco this was a huge inconvenience, I basically ended up with 2 hours sleep that night thanks to the Hilton.

The room was very small and the bar was totally empty! Not only that there was no Self parking! So Valet service is 75$ + Tax a day
