My room was amazing I asked for a " room with a view" and it did not disappoint. I had a room on the 31st floor with an amazing view. The bed was large and super comfy and the room was very clean. Location was central and absolutely fantastic I was able to walk to Union Square I loved everything about it including the lift with the fantastic view. I felt very safe in the location and the hotel itself. It exceeded my expectations.
Negatives:
I think the food was a little bit pricey in the ground floor cafe but all in all it didn't spoil my stay

Positives:
The Westin Lounge was a nice bonus for breakfast and snacks to relax and recharge. The hotel is part of San Francisco's history and I enjoyed viewing the history of the Westin that was displayed throughout the hotel.
Negatives:
There were services that were unavailable while the strike was happening. The strike from the workers was disruptive for guests in terms of the noise. It was happening all day and all night for a very long period.

A classy hotel perfectly located for a visit to SF. We stayed in the more modern part which while not as grand as the traditional part, we still rather nice. The parking was onsite with attentive staff. PS Recommend the driver-less taxis.
Negatives:
Breakfast in the foyer was expensive, and we therefore used one of the many local coffee houses instead.

I like the location and the staff was nice.

There was a strike going on. I had to cross a picket line and being a former union worker, not thrilled about that. No one called or emailed me to tell me that beforehand. Also, there were no suggestions to overcome the lack of services, food and extremely annoying noise. For instance: free breakfast or gift card to local restaurant; area to get your own towels since they were not replaced when taken; free white noise on You Tube?

During check-out all of the elevators except one were out of order, resulting in a 15-20 minute delay in getting to the lobby to check out. Very noisy due to striking workers outside. I would not have picked this hotel had I known in advance that they don’t treat their employees well.
