A fab place to stay. We stayed with our two children aged 12 and 14. It was a great location, clean, and we felt really safe here and in the area. The staff were amazing. Every staff member we came across was very friendly, professional, polite, and knowledgeable. We would definitely stay again .

The location is incredible, right across from the wharf areas in San Francisco and you get free parking as long as you arrive soon enough to get it. If you leave and the parking lot is full upon return you might not have a spot because its full though.
Negatives:
This a VERY OLD building and the walls and ceiling are thin. If you dont have a 3rd floor you will hear just about everything going on above you! It was so noisy and we moved our room 2 times during our 6 day stay. The bathrooms are really funky and tiny in most rooms. Showers are a joke. The water temperature has a mind of its own. The maintenance is what Id call the bandaid approach on a lot of things. The beds are so-so but clean. Dont forget to bring your slippers or such to walk around the room in. I know the housekeepers do a good job in cleaning but in old places like this they can only do so much. Some of the rooms we checked out to move to had a real musty smell or way too much of a Clorox smell from cleaning. The vents on the ceiling were packed with dust! Windows were broken out and ones that had been replaced you could just slide open to get into easily. The staff was very friendly and tried very hard to make us comfortable during our stay. Bless them for that. We were fooled by others comments , and thought this place would be a good comfortable place to stay. Its a dive Im sad to say. Live and learn! I hope they will truly do the upgrades they say they are doing and bring its standards up.
