Terrible experience with this property! Paid for the stay when completed prepaid booking on booking.com. During check in, the property claimed that the reservation was not paid for (even though there were receipts and confirmations) and charged the guest again, did not provide any receipt of final folio for the duplicate charge. The property does not respond to any messages or calls. Still waiting for a refund. Please be aware of a possible scam with Extended Stay America Suites - San Francisco - San Mateo

Rooms are clean, has stove and fridge, bed is comfortable.
Negatives:
For a work trip this is fine to rest, shower and sleep. But not good for vacations. Close to highway and it’s noisy at night

This was a great location. Close to the bridge for travels to Yosemite.
Negatives:
The property was loud and run down. We checked in after hours and it took a few minutes for someone to let us it. Bring ear plugs - it’s loud. The a c sort of worked. A fan would have been nice to muffle the noise. “Breakfast” was coffee and pre-packaged bars / muffins. Overall adequate property.

- Poor cleanliness (floors were dirty, a lot of rubbish behind wardrobes etc) - The first room I stayed in the heather was not working so i had to move again - a lot of things are to be paid for as extras (high speed wifi, kitcken items, etc.) - very noisy given vicinity to high speed road
