Negatives: I forgot my purse in the room and when I went back they told me they didn’t find it and they give me attitude I was being nice the whole time and they didn’t care so I lost my purse with my wallet inside it I ask them that I wanted to speak to the housekeeping manager and all she said that they were all gone for the day

Positives: The breakfast was good.
Negatives: I recently stayed at Hampton Inn Santa Ana and unfortunately, it was far from a pleasant experience. Upon entering the room, I noticed it was dirty, with hair of all types left in the bathroom—definitely not what I expected. The soap bottles were peeling off the walls, and the door was so awkward and wouldn’t close, adding to the frustration. The floor was so filthy that walking barefoot left our feet black, and the duvet was scratchy, making it hard to get comfortable. To make matters worse, the cable kept cutting out, leaving us with only five channels to choose from. The most disappointing aspect was the pool—it was absolutely disgusting. Even the front desk staff agreed it was gross, which is incredibly concerning. Overall, this stay was well below standard. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean and comfortable place to stay.

Positives: Stayed with my husband and kids while he was traveling for work. Breakfast was good and the rooms are spacious. Staff were friendly.
Negatives: Umm how to start? Walked into the first room and it was noticeably very dirty. Dirt on every surface and bathroom, stains on the bed and couch and on top of that my son sat on the floor and started crawling and in mere seconds I noticed dark black dirt along his legs and hands. Absolutely disgusting. On top of that the phone didn't work, tvs were going in and out constantly. And the shower was freezing and took have 10mins to even get Luke warm. I was at my wit ends and the employee said they couldn't really do anything for us. We asked to cancel and refund to stay at one of the closer hotels and they refused. Only other option was to stay in the next room over. We were in the "nice balcony rooms" walked in and what do u know DIRTY. sat my son down and same thing happened. Everything we were touching left dirt marks within seconds and even left dirt marks on the sheets transferring over. I used 2 packs of baby Wipes throughout the 2 day stay to wipe down everything and everyone constantly. Shower was the same, phone wasn't working, cable was stilling messing up, and to put the cherry on top the fire alarm was randomly going off!!! Beds were uncomfortable so it was enough to say that we left very tired and unhappy parents with very upset little kids. Will not be staying here again and would not recommend families especially to stay. Hopefully they decide to update there flooring and put hardwood like most hotels have done by now...

Positives: Location
Negatives: Literally had to beg to get housekeeping. Asked for it every day and still didn’t get it regularly. One day called down twice and went to front desk twice asking for housekeeping. Never got it that day. Had to ask for towels, toilet paper etc. Overnight front desk worker could not have been ruder. Was visibly upset when there were guests at the front desk (which she was rarely at) and said “every time I come back here there are people here!” The lack of housekeeping made it one of the worst stays we have had - ever. Do better.
