Red Roof Inn Santa Ana

Negatives: There were a few aspects of my stay that I found unsatisfactory. After driving for seven hours, I was understandably tired and eager to check in. However, the individual at the front desk denied my request for an early check-in (approximately 30 minutes) stating that no rooms were available. Despite this assertion, I observed that no guests were exiting any rooms, suggesting that there may have been an opportunity to accommodate my request. The cleanliness of the room also left much to be desired. Upon entering, we discovered unsightly red stains near the bathroom. Additionally, the beds were uncomfortable, and the pillows were old and worn. The small cabinets adjacent to the beds were equipped with power outlets, but these outlets were often unreliable, randomly turning off and then back on after several hours. Lastly, the area behind the cabinets was neglected, with my phone falling and revealing dirt, hair, chips, and spider webs. This unsanitary condition was unacceptable.

Negatives: The staff / not friendly anytime

Negatives: The process of navigating the booking; edits couldn't be made like only one adult - not two; I was surprised I had to add an a $100 deposit after arriving and was informed by Diego it was on the post; while it was only me I didn't need two beds; there was no discount for seniors (I'm over 70 yrs old); altho fairly clean there was a cockroach walking across the dresser.

Negatives: Was not clean sheets had hairs folded inside of sheets and blankets looked dirty. All the counters had a sticky filmy coat on top and room smelled funny.

Negatives: Service and amenities. No provision to request for additional pillows for health condition accommodation. Staff unwilling to be helpful. $100 deposit required. Expensive room then NO breakfast.
