It was the perfect spot with perfect views of the pier and the ocean. The hotel provides you with vouchers for bike rentals everyday, up to 4 bikes. Which was perfect for my family of 4. We rode our bikes along the bike trail and got the best views of the pier and ocean.
Negatives:
There’s a lot of homeless around, we’re from a smaller town so we’re not used to seeing that. But we also understand that’s comes with touristic areas.

Positives:
Great location, right in the heart of the action, and across from Santa Monica Pier. A short walk to 3rd street shopping mail, and many great restaurants. The hotel offered complimentary bikes so we road to Venice Beach. We couldn’t have asked for better.
Negatives:
Valet left our car keys in another vehicle, which ended up in San Diego, the valet manager took a 6 hour round trip to retrieve the keys, as Uber would not travel the distance. This happened the day of checkout, which meant our plans for the day had to change to allow them to retrieve our keys.
Room 222 was noisy, the local construction worked through the night.
