Negatives: Wish we could have had room service.

Negatives: The deafening noise during the day. We booked a hillside cottage because of the views, location etc. However when we tried to take advantage of this and have a relaxing anniversary drink and lunch on our balcony the noise was unbearable. Fair play the manager moved us but it was just as bad. The issue was we had no notice of the disruption and from previous experience, I’ve seen parts of hotels closed when this kind of work takes place.

Negatives: One of our 2 room key cards didn't work, the steam room did not put out much steam, a big disappointment for me.

Negatives: No water provided in the fridges. Surprising for a hotel of this quality.

Negatives: This level hotel should have room service, as they used to partnering with a great restaurant next door. It was disappointing because it took away from the complete relaxation offered.

Negatives: For over $500 a night, it seems to me that it's reasonable to ask that the toilet should be separated from the bedroom by more than a cheesy two-panel louvred sliding door that latches with hardware bought off Home Depot's racks of screws and bolts and installed, from all appearances, by a ten year old boy scout. The rest of the bath is very nice, but as an old fashioned couple, my wife and I prefer not to share our toilet sounds. In addition, there was some kind of animal nest in the walls behind the room and whatever was in there woke us at 2AM most nights with a lot of scuffling sounds. When we told the staff about it, they seemed more amused than inquisitive about how to solve the issue.
