Pretty much everything about the Coachman we liked. Free coffee & tea in the morning and all-day hot chocolate for the kids. S’more’s in the evening. Overall design of the hotel was great (bathroom soaps & shampoo were amazing as well) and it is very conveniently located between the lake and the village of South Lake Tahoe

Positives:
Love the Resort style grounds with bicycles, fire pits and s’mores hot chocolate the coffee tea pot and refrig in room sun deck to hang out and kitchen and so much much more
Negatives:
Just my mattress was weird. Soft not firm or lumpy I’m not sure of the words to describe the unusual sensation; not ideal for restful sleep.

Staff were friendly and complimentary coffee was appreciated. Walking distance to many attractions. Also free charging for EV.

We had an issue with the room keys. It took three times to get keys to work. The staff was very helpful.

Our room was left dirty, excessive dog hair on our bed. Informed the reception and they send the housekeeper to clean the room.

I loved the vibe of the lobby area! I don’t think I’ve ever enjoyed a hotel lobby like this one. Bikes. Smores. Good drinks. Such a cute hotel remodel. Loved the details in the room, to include the heated toilet seat! Location wise: it was nice to be away from the tourist trap areas of Tahoe

Our bathroom door didn’t shut fully. Didn’t really mind it.
