Such comfy mattresses and pillows. Loved the little extras like s’mores night at the fire pit, free bikes for guests , free beach pass, complimentary coffee tea at any time.Room was VERY clean.

Disappointing
Positives:
The location was great, very close to the Center, walking distance to Heavenly Gondola and restaurants. Room was very comfortable and nice, and loved the vibe in the lobby and the people working there.
Negatives:
I would have loved a phone in the room to be able to call the front office, or a way of communication that was more direct and not have to go to the front office to ask for things like blowdryer, etc.

We were in a building across the street undergoing construction. Workers used saws and other tools until 9:30 PM. The insulation is pretty bad and we could hear people walking above us until midnight as well as the washers in the laundry room next to us all night.

Too expensive for a flipped...
Positives:
Room was clean, comfortable for 2 people and had a nice vibe. Bedding was comfy with good pillows, maybe a bit too soft. Balcony was small but useable. It was covered in tree pollen so could have been cleaner. Shower was nice size with good pressure. Nice bar/lounge area with outside fire pit. I really enjoyed evening smores and reading a book at the fire.
Negatives:
Toilet and seat were very small. I'm a normal sized person but found the seat a bit uncomfortable. Some staff were a bit stand-offish. However, met the manager on the last morning and he was very pleasant.

Phenomenal hotel with a staff that is helpful, hard working and knows the area well to make recommendations! Cannot wait to stay again someday. Loved the free bike usage and the coffee shop/food was exceptional.

Positives:
Amenities to the private beach, the s’mores, fire pit and kitchen
Negatives:
The lack of quality control: our fridge was dirty. Moved us to another room- they didn’t have hand soap. Had to ask MULTIPLE TIMES from different staff. Staff unsure where housekeeping keeps supplies. Emailed GM never responded. Poor customer service and obviously doesn’t care about customers. Experience with their property. Staff passive aggressive. Offered to clean our room yet left a dirt cup on the counter. Still didn’t provide us with HAND SOAP! Like don’t they wash their hands?!? Seems very unsanitary to me and question their hand hygiene or hygiene in general. Super sad and disappointed as their service does this place disservice because in hindsight it’s a beautiful hotel and great location. But would never recommend. Stay at The Landing instead.
