The pool was great and had nice long hours. Breakfast was very good. The size of the suite was great.

I did not like that there would have been a $25 charge to check-in an hour early. The Three story walk up was a challenge for a geezer with a lot of stuff. The ice maker in the frig did not work and I could not get the clock radio on the bed stand to work.

Positives:
I liked that they had free breakfast and a decent variety. Although I wished they had more gluten free options such as corn tortillas in addition to flour tortillas. Gluten free bread or pastry options also would have been nice. The exterior was nice.
Negatives:
There was a bad smell in our room. Almost like a strong fragrance to mask previous smoking or maybe previous pet smells. The sofa bed was uncomfortable and the blanket they gave us for it was paper thin. The carpet was filthy and room was pretty small. We could hear the people above us making a lot of noise when they would come and go. The bathroom was tiny (there were 3 of us - 2 adults and a 10 yr old).

I requested lower level due to traveling with elderly family member who would have difficulty with stairs. This request was not honored, no communication from the property. They gave us 2nd story accommodations. Difficult for my family member to access.

There was a very strong smoking smell in our room and a an unbearable musty smell of mould in the second one that we were given untill we were moved to a new room.
This inconvenience has disrupted our stay.

Something is strange about 50% the guests, who appear to be welfare people, kids running around, smoking, talking loud in the am mornings with rhythmic base . I don’t understand where these sketchy people are coming from. Ad photos don’t match the actual hotel. Bait n switch?
