Positives:
Had a wonderful stay at Montrose and the bed was by far the most comfortable bed is our 4 weeks trip is USA (visiting from Australia).

Perfect.
Positives:
The Montrose is in a great location, right in West Hollywood, and the area feels very safe. It’s walking distance to nice cafés, and the hotel itself has a beautiful, modern design. The rooms are spacious, well-equipped, and the pool area is also very nice with a beautiful view of LA.
Negatives:
The valet parking was horrible. After a 20-day road trip with loads of bags, we felt rushed by the valet as we tried to unload our car. It was awkward arriving at the hotel with 10 bags, and later when we needed to get something from the car, we had to wait in line for 10 minutes just to get the keys, then explain why we wanted access to our own vehicle. Without valet, it would’ve taken one minute to grab our stuff. Also when we checked out, we waited another 10 minutes outside with all our bags for the car to arrive.
Additionally, the hotel felt a bit impersonal, and the staff came across as somewhat cold and distant, making the stay less comfortable than we had hoped.
Also my booking was canceled without notice due to a payment issue, and I had to rebook at 40% higher cost, which was frustrating.

The room was dirty had a bad smell in it the bathroom had red mild on the tiles we had to get them to re clean room on first night because of the above after which the stay was a little better but they need to clean the mood and smell in the rooms

Great quiet location. Easy walk to cafes, restaurants and supermarket. Perfect location to drive to all tourist areas. Pool on roof amazing. Beds comfortable. Bathrooms spacious. Attentive valet service for car. Free coffee in morning.
Negatives:
Expensive valet car parking.
Having a kitchen but no utensils or equipment - needed to request this but didn’t realise until mid way through our stay. Would’ve been nice to be informed this upon check in. Also needed to ask about guest laundry too.
