It was definitely overpriced for what it was. The TV did not work. The room had a foul odor. Breakfast was terrible. Other than location everything else seemed to be lower end. Would recommend paying a little bit more for a nicer hotel.

The building and rooms were quite clean.
Negatives:
The Manager (didn’t get his name, no name tag. Slightly overweight white male in his mid-40s) was quite rude.
Firstly, this is on me- my family and I are in the middle of a military move and I should have called first to ask about parking availability for a long moving truck and trailer.
However, the manager was rude about the situation and made no efforts to suggest places I could call to safely leave my moving vehicle.
Secondly, I woke up in the morning and the parking lot was nowhere near full and I had plenty of space to park. So thank you for that, whoever you are.
Third, thanks a LOT to Big O’s Tire shop next door for letting me park there. Best Western manager was far less than helpful there.
Fourth- the elevator broke multiple times WITH PEOPLE IN IT and the Manager, yet again, couldn’t have cared any less about the issue. I will be calling the city inspector about this, since most of the staff didn’t seem to care enough to at least get an elevator mechanic on the phone or at least shut down the elevator until it can be fixed and safe to use.
All of that said- the nice older gentleman working the front desk was more than cordial and helpful with suggestions to try and help us work around our hang-ups. He was a somewhat shorter, skinnier, older gentleman who was very kind and empathetic.
Lastly, the beds were quite firm and the pillows were rather uncomfortable for myself and the others in my party.

TI liked the location of our room but i would have liked more lighting, and had it mor clean. My bathroom was not wiped down and I the soap from the previous guest was still at the sink.
