The hotel was beautiful and modern. The room amenities were nice. Good location to restaurants and bars.
Negatives:
I’m old school. Did not like the fact that had to check yourself in and make your own room keys. There is no onsite parking so you either have to pay $32 a day an ex walk a block and a half or pay $52 per day for valet. Hotel price was already top of the range then have to add in that fee as well. they have a pour over coffee maker in the room but don’t provide coffee. Breakfast choices for the free breakfast offer was lacking. The rooftop was not open which is one of the perks we were looking forward to. Very disappointing.

Positives:
Hands-down the most modern and high tech place we’ve stayed at (and there have been hundreds). The rooms are ridiculously cool— cabinet doors that open to fridge, freezer, dishwasher…. And a room darkening shade that doubles as a projection screen! (Ceiling mounted projector for streaming services.)
You can do everything without interacting with a human (if you’re tech savvy), but I found everybody on the staff to be absolutely delightful.
Negatives:
All doors to the building are inaccessible except the one marked “Red Barber” (which apparently is not a barbershop, but the name of the rooftop bar which is rarely open). Could the entrance be more obtuse?
The immediate area is bland and ugly, but cool stuff can be found a few blocks away (especially heading toward downtown).

An extremely well equipped room, a stove, dishwasher provided. Unusual layout for the room but everything I needed for my stay. The bathroom and shower was very impressive.

Price for food and drink at the hotel seemed rather extortion it, a simple drink and a yogurt setting me back over $10s

Our room had dirty hair in the sink and in the bed. $52/ for valet a day is ridiculous. Staff were just ok. Self check in makes it trickier and longer to get checked in especially when there’s staff available. I didn’t enjoy that at all.

Positives:
Very well thought out and designed room. Great bed, large and comfortable. Very cleverly fitted out with everything you might need. Modern, cool , styling. I enjoyed watching TVin bed. The hotel works hard to provide social moments like drinks in the bar and breakfast and this makes for a nice relaxed and friendly feeling. Great toiletries.
Negatives:
It’s a lively place. I could hear Road noise and the party one night on the roof terrace. It was only low background noise and it didn’t bother me but it might if you were a super light sleeper. The only other niggle for me was that the sofa was a bit utilitarian and not really well positioned against the wall to watch TV or have a coffee - so in theory there was seating but it didn’t work for me.
