this is a VERY interesting European style concept hotel. Did not know what to expect. It was totally fine, and interesting, but we are a bit more traditional in our expectations. As one example, we are just not used to taking down the chairs, suitcase benches and even a small table from a leather strap on the wall of the room. And that is the Moxy! Dont apologize for any of this, just lean in. It felt like a luxury higher quality version of a student hostel. Cool, but we are just a bit beyond that.

I was charged $150 MORE than I was quoted with booking.com and I was scalded because the shower did not have cold water.

Positives:
Loved the decor and the ambiance. Staff were great and good location for meetings and access to nearby mall.
Negatives:
Not really geared up for working in the room as there is a small fold up table rather than a desk - but the whole focus of the hotel is on a more communal vibe, so working in the main living area downstairs is fine.

Fun vibe and good location
Positives:
This is my second time staying at this property and the location is great. The property itself is also very nice and comfortable. While they don't have a restaurant, you can order food at the bar and they have a well stocked coffee station.
Negatives:
The guest service needs improvement. The only interaction the hotel has with its guests is at the front desk and bar (single location). The overall attitude was that they were doing the guest a favor by letting them stay there. Disappointing service.
