we just arrived, they flew into the parking in the dark, we had to dictate the phone number on the cold and darkness while we were taking things out of the car, they didn't even let us enter the hotel like people

This location is gorgeous and the spa facilities are extensive and beautiful. The room was large and clean, though a bit dark. The food was really variable with some being excellent and others actually poor. The service also ranged, and I felt they were inexperienced. I would not stay anywhere else, though, as this swimming pool area, big slide, lap swim, and two hot tubs was fabulous.

The property itself was impeccable. Enjoyed the views and the room.
Negatives:
The concierge service was subpar at friendliness. This was our first trip to Telluride. She did not understand this was a surprise trip for my husband and he asked what all is there to do here? Just seemed bothered with the question. She didn’t tell us about the magic show/ the spa/ and bar/etc. Meaning what can be booked or amenities through her/ are there things we should know about. She looked underwhelmed at having to print the options for us. She also didn’t go out of her to explain the property or trips/etc. We just decided not to book anything there.
The Front desk manager was exceptional. Housekeeping was prompt and very detailed in resetting/ cleaning the room.
The bartender at the bar in the hotel was also friendly/ informative and seemed to enjoy his job.

Beautiful location, views, pools. Right on the edge of the village center
Negatives:
They tell you there is no air conditioning and make you sign a waiver. They don't tell you it needs air-conditioning in the middle of the summer. We slept with the sliding glass door open every night and a large somewhat noisy fan blowing all night long and with just a sheet over us. The night I needed to wake up at 3 AM for a hike, they had a wedding reception going on the outdoor patio below our room until 11 PM at which point all the guests began to hoot and holler. Parking was an extra $34 a night.
