Rooms were very clean, beds were so comfortable with good fluffy pillows. This location doesn't serve free breakfast, but they do have a restaurant you can order from. It was quiet and peaceful. Safe neighborhood, not too far a drive from food and other attractions.

Convenient location close to 36. Didn’t have a lot of road noise on the north side. Exceptional service from staff, given a bad situation.
Negatives:
HORRIBLE FRAGRANCE IN ROOM. Did not dissipate with fan on. Smell overpowering and awful. The cleaning staff were spraying some sort of fragrance in the rooms (on the carpets?) and the stench gave me a headache. I went with a staff member from the front desk to another room and she smelled it there and was shocked at the intensity! She refunded our stay. Skip this place if you don’t like your hotel rooms smelling like strong perfume. The whole advantage of staying in hotels over vacation rentals or AirBnBs is the lack of added fragrance! This place did not deliver in that regard.
Also, the bathrooms in the pool area have toilets visible through the bathroom doors, pointing straight at the pool. Since poop aerosolizes when flushed, there's a direct line from the toilet to the pool once someone flushes and opens a stall door. . . eek!

Positives:
The room itself was clean which is the most important part.
Negatives:
The hotel needs remodeling. The carpets in the hallways are super stained and dirty. The restrooms downstairs where out of order. The light cones and accessories in the bedroom were oxidized. We took showers with really cold water since it never got hot.
