Positives:
I was pleased with the Capital Hotel. When I checked in with my son, the clerk at the front desk asked me where I was parked. I told him we both parked right behind the hotel, whe. I went back out, my son and I both received a $90 ticket each. I wasn't told I had to park in the basement parking lot. In order to park in the basement, you need to give the make and model of your cars. I wasn't even parked in the back for 10 minutes and we both received a ticket, which titoled $180. I should not have to pay these tickets since I was never told the hotel parking is in the basement. Besides we both had to give the make and color of our cars before they would open the door to the basement parking lot. By that time, we were both given a ticket for only being there for less than 15 minutes. This is definitely the deal breaker from coming back to Capitol Hotel. I will have to give the make and color of my car in order to use your parking lot. I'm sure I'll end up eating another ticket, which I can't afford.
Negatives:
P. S. Getting a $90 ticket because the front desk needs the make and color of your car before they can open the gate to let you in. Even though I was only in the upper parking lot for less than 15 minutes. This is a deal breaker for me to come back. I can't afford a $90 ticket every time I come

Positives:
The room was simple but adequate. It was missing a luggage rack and had only one chair. A few extra hooks in the bathroom would be helpful and the towel rack placement over the toilet was a little impractical. The breakfast was a generic American breakfast. The location is perfect, close to downtown and restaurants, Bushnell Park, the train station as well as attractions.

Just the towel rack positioned above the toilet.
