Negatives: * This hotel room was facing a parking lot in front of the train station. Little did I know that the lot became a midnight gathering of drug dealers: Late at night I began to hear heavy rhythm/bass rap? music, that kept me awake. Only after it continued for hours until after 1 a.m. that I went to the window to see what was happening outside, and saw many cars gathering in the parking lot, with some head lights on, staying there), while some individuals moving from one car to another doing something (drug dealing?) and some cars moving in and out the parking lot (as if they had come to "buy" something? and left after finishing the "business"), the way cars and a few individuals were interacting with one another was eerie. After I went to bed around 11, I could not sleep until around almost 2 in the morning when they became quiet. I recommend anyone not to book a room facing the parking lot in the back, but at the same time, the front side is facing the street and the State park. I had no way to know if that side was quiet after midnight. Later I read about some gang activities (violence & drug dealings) in the otherwise beautiful historic city... * The card to open my room door did not work first, and I had to ask the front desk personnel to show me how to use the card: He inserted the card in the slot and pulled it out quickly and pulled the door knob up (not down), and after a few times of trial the door opened. Later I tried to open my door, I had to try doing the same a few times to finally let it open. They need a solid consistent system for the door. * The breakfast had only high calorie heavy stuff with few choices of cereal, only low fat milk with no alternative, only sugar-filled yogurt with no plain/sugar-free ones, etc.

Negatives: Not the hotels fault but everything closed super early. I suggest you eat dinner before 4.

Negatives: The hotel is a bit of a walk from any pharmacy or any store to grab some light snacks. The bathroom was nice but it seemed like the sink was clogged so it took a while for water to drain.

Negatives: Could have been cleaner in the bathrooms. Bathroom fans didn't work and entrance light was not working.

Negatives: If I’m to be picky I noticed a few spots the vacuum had missed on the floor and it’s not as modern as other hotels but really for the price this is the sort of stuff that comes as a trade off.

Negatives: Outside

Negatives: We arrived late & barely were able to get a parking spot! The weather really made our decision to stay in the hotel for dinner!

Negatives: I didn't like that the steps we could only go down them not up the steps. They should put a key lock that works for all the floors. I didn't like that the housekeeping didn't clean the room properly. I didn't like that they claim the gym was open at 5:30am, but they kept level 2 lock until 6:00am on weekdays and 7:00am on weekends.

Negatives: I would’ve given this place a much higher score, but beware of the front desk people repeatedly charging your card for the room, not just for me but two colleagues I have as well. No one knew what was going on, and when I checked out I was charged AGAIN and when I saw it I called and was hung up on. Called again Monday and was hung up on AGAIN by the manager. Refused to explain what was happening with my account, and repeatedly interrupted and was rude. You guys need to figure out why the two computers you have don’t sync up, you tried multiple times to charge various amounts all through the weekend until there was nothing left in my bank account. Figure out your system and at least admit when you’re wrong and try to fix it!

Negatives: The room was shabby. I expected more in regards to keeping up with modern amenities. The bathroom was an old toilet from my school days with a flush handle and there wasn’t a spot to put your clothes. The toilet was so close to the wall it made it difficult to access the toilet paper. All the outlets in the room didn’t hold the chargers for the electronics. I wouldn’t dare walk without shoes on. The room wasn’t worth what I paid. Oh yes breakfast was included… pitiful.
