Red Roof Inn Meriden

Negatives: 1)Much of building was being re decorated so there was dust and generally unpleasant 2) Although there was a coffee maker, there were no cups. 3) There were no glasses or paper cups in bathroom. 4) The bedspread was the only “blanket” on the beds.

Negatives: Loud guests

Negatives: It had beat up furniture, dirty carpet, our refrigerator was dead, one pillow was stained through to the pillow, batteries in the tv remote were dead, and there wasn’t enough staff to handle these problems. The front desk would say they’re coming and would never get there. The tv problem was taken care of but the repairman lied to the manager when he said he fixed the refrigerator. We had no refrigerator during our two day stay there. There were beat up doors that badly needed to be painted, and rugs being held down by tape around the edges. It was a great disappointment!! It is obviously an old hotel in a very run down area that desperately needs to be updated. The grounds were badly overgrown and even the pavement areas were dirty. Don’t stay here!!!

Negatives: We stayed in a handicap room and when we entered the room had a musty smell. There was some type of oil on the floor right when u entered and my wife walks with a cane. There was a water bottle cap on the floor. . Not happy with the cleanliness.
