The entire experience. The room smelled awful. We advised hotel and all they did was Lysol the room. The smell was still there. Coffee maker didn't work, they claimed they swapped out but left water on counter and pooled on top of fridge. Also didn't refill the coffee that was used. The tub had large circular crack in bottom. They couldn't even give us full rolls of toilet paper. We came in to rolls, that were left less than half of paper left and no spares. Had to use tissues. Toilet paper holders were broken. Sink dripped constantly. Was told they fixed it but they didn't and the stopper to sink was broken. Breakfast buffet - Food was cold, and had to use plastic silverware two days in a row. Not sure why dishes couldn't be washed. Had to keep telling staff to fill coffee etc.
Only reason rated a 2 instead of a 1 is the staff was pleasant and not rude.

Brown poop stain on sheets. I immediately called and ask bedding and o be changed. They sent maintenance and he handed the sheets to me. I said I’m not doing it! I wrote a complaint email to hotel and never heard a word back also left a voicemail

Positives:
Met our needs. Lobby area was inviting with a gas fireplace and comfortable seating. Beds comfortable. A/C was relatively quiet.
Negatives:
Refrigerator was loud and buzzing. Breakfast option was quite expensive.

A fine local hotel, not...
Positives:
The location was perfect for the Soundside Music Festival but due to the change in price from when booked to current price the “virtual” card was denied and embarrassing for them to keep saying in front of others patrons. They tried to charge me twice, as a result and without the receipt I would not have been able to even stay the night. That would have been terrible because it was a surprise for my wife.
I stayed in room 413 and my wife’s best friends( who were also a part of the surprise) stayed in Room 519 Jody Slaven. There toilet was not flushing and after two visits from maintenance it kept breaking…as a result I had to fix their toilet for the three ladies. Never broke again.
I should have taken some pictures so you could see the food under the microwave and the year of dust on top of it. Unfortunately, I was more concerned about the 3 flies buzzing around the room as my wife has a phobia of bugs. This was resolved by me leaving and going to get a fly swatter to eliminate them. If the flies stayed she would NOT have stayed.

The aforementioned concerns listed above. Also, although I have the staff a great rating it was because they finally figure out the issue and we were able to stay. That made me very happy but the way they looked at me like they had no idea and kept trying the virtual card and it was denied over and over again. That part was embarrassing and “painful” to deal with. Especially, because I reached out to Booking.com and they assured me there would be NO ISSUES….not their fault I believe the fault lay in the arms of the people working at the hotel itself.

Sadly, had an awful experience overall. I parked my vehicle in the hotel's parking lot, assuming that my car would be safe. Early in the morning I was informed that my vehicle got broken into. Police arrived to the location and we inspected the vehicle together. Criminals broke my rear window, damaged the front window frame and broke the screen/computer. I requested to speak to the manager on site to watch videos and to my surprise there was no manager that day, I waited for more than two hours and the manager never arrived. Its been a week and I still haven't heard anything from management. Customer service: a disgrace.

We checked in for just one night. We booked a king room. It was large enough with a desk, chair, mini fridge and microwave. Parking was free.
Negatives:
The room was overall clean but the facilities need repairs and a bit of updating. The carpeting was peeling up in a section. There were some cracks in the bathroom tiling. The blinds didn't close fully. It was fine for one night. I didn't find the staff to be very friendly at check in. I wasn't told what time check out was or about breakfast. The hot tub was broken and had caution tape around it.
