Recently renovated. Room was spacious, clean, had a nice desk and new deskchair, fridge, microwave. Breakfast was as expected, soggy scrambled eggs, but the coffee was very good.
Negatives:
Wifi signal was weak. Wifi disconnected at midnight, so without realizing it I was using roaming. Had to sign back in to solve problem, but it would be better if they could just leave you connected.

This was the worst hotel stay I have had in years. I only needed one night of decent sound. Rest. The bed was soft and welcoming and clean and the room itself was okay. But the walls in the building seem to have nothing in them and so sound carried everywhere. From 6:00 p.m. till around midnight the people upstairs on the second floor above me were making a ruckus. I complained numerous times to management but they did not quiet down the areas around my room. There were also people coming and going in the Halls frequently. Every time someone opens a door it makes a swishing sound and then slammed shut unless they control the shutting of it, which most people don't. Then at 5 am the banging started and went on for hours. The explanation by management was that there was a long-term tenant in the room next to mine and that that person lives alone and has no friends and no visitors and so they could not possibly be responsible for all that noise and that was complete nonsense. What it told me was that they counted on or appreciated the fact that this person was a long-term paying tenant and so they were willing to look away from the kind of noise or other institutionalized kinds of behaviors that this person was operating under as a long-term tenant in a short-term hotel. When I finally checked out the woman at the desk was very kind but she said there was very little she could do. Which is also nonsense. It's just the nature of a corporation that they make their profit and they charge us for the room and no matter what goes wrong they still get their profits.

Walls between rooms are not sound-proof. You could hear people in our next room was watching TV load and talking to each other midnight. It was impossible to sleep with such a noise. Reception did not take a proper action when I told them.

The staff had gotten my comment with reservation that I am allergic to all the good animals, including all kinds of dog, and made sure to give me a room that had not had a dog (pet or service) in it for a while. I slept and woke w/o wheezing or sinus issues.
Negatives:
There were some folks on the busy road in front of the hotel demonstrating how loud and fast their cars could be, and we could clearly hear people talking in the hallway. Both ended before it was too late, and my earplugs and eyemask did the trick for the night.
