It was close to the Red Lobster for dinner, and it did not leak during the heavy rain.
Negatives:
The place was just tired, and the breakfast was not up to the standards we expected from other Comfort Inns on past trips. The room was dirty and worn, and attempts at tarting up the place failed. It is in need of a complete renovation. The wifi in our room was weak too, so I ended up using the hot spot on my iphone to use my ipad.

Comfort Inn was fine with very friendly and helpful staff. However,, Booking.com has been a nightmare.
Negatives:
Booking.com is a nightmare. I cancelled the last of three nights for two rooms a week in advance of arrival, well within the time frame required to make the change without penalty. Nevertheless, a few days after I cancelled the third night, booking.com charged me for the three days for two rooms anyway and is giving me the runaround to get my refund. Including wanting me to call a number in Europe. Be aware that you cannot email Booking.com customer service, Your email will be returned undeliverable. You can only communicate via these windows. Booking.com is a nightmare to use. Booking.com charged me for 3 nights for both rooms when I had cancelled the 3rd night 5 days ahead of time with Joseph at booking.com. When I spoke later to Pam at booking.com, she said the hotel didnt have availability but the hotel informed me that booking.com had cancelled my 3rd night for both rooms. The hotel staff stated that the hotel is not allowed to make changes when booked through booking.com so only booking.com cancelled the 3rd night!! When I checked in the hotel on june 7 2024, the hotel confirmed again that booking changed my reservation to 2 nights (June 7 - June 9) for both rooms. When I checked out of the hotel on June 9th before 11am and asked for an invoice, the hotel told me that booking.com did not allow the hotel to give copies of invoices nor were they allowed to tell me the rate I was charged for the two rooms. This is outrageous and I believe illegal for booking.com to have this policy.
Booking.com owes me a refund for the 3rd night for both rooms, at least $177. I have informed American Express where they will be filing my complaint if I do not get my full refund by June 21st. 2024. I also am filing a complaint with the BBB (Better Business Bureau).
