Even though the reservation stated pay on arrival, the motel had canceled our reservation for not paying beforehand and said there were no more rooms available. No good explanation was given. Hours away from home, we had to scramble quickly to find another motel. People at the desk were curt and unhelpful. Make a reservation at your own risk.
