Positives: The bed was comfortable and the room quiet; Though the glass on the shower door wasn't the cleanest- the shower pressure was superb!
Negatives: Well, the breakfastast was advertised as complimentary by the front desk clerk upon check-in; I thought it odd to have waiters for such (but hey its Marriott?). I was chased down by the waitress who apparently thought we had skipped out on the bill intentionally (she couldn't accept Apple Pay, so we had to retrieve a physical card from the room). I was not feeling well and ended up needing fresh linen, which I asked for at 6:45am- I was told housekeeping arrives at 7am and I should have it shortly thereafter. About an hour later I checked again and supposedly house keeping had just arrived at 8am; thirty more mins later and I informed the clerk that I would be coming down to collect it myself as I wanted to go back to sleep. The clerk was short with me, but said, "ok" to me picking up the linen myself. On the way down I see housekeeping and tell them I needed the linen- he said, "ok"- I then offered to change it myself as I was sure they were already busy. The housekeeping manager then double checked the room I was in om his clipboard- and I confirmed it was the correct room. While waiting for the elevator, myself and guest were perplexed at the encounter, so we decided to head back to the room. I wanted to make sure we would be able to lay back down. Housekeeping was in the room next to ours; He informed me that I was checking out today and he would not be changing the linen. ( We had a late checkout though) I asked him to open my room so I could show him that I was in need of linen to finish my stay. I am not showing, but am expecting and I need all the rest I can get. I am highly disappointed in the Marriott brand this trip. My guest is a Platinum member with Marriott, and he was not impressed with the services rendered this trip either. Perhaps the staff would benefit from a course on communication, interpersonal skills and customer service. As of today I am not sure if I care to book with Marriott again. Thank you for your time.
