Positives: Location was great, room view was good. Size of room was great. Staff was great.
Negatives: Mini fridge’s should be standard. Restaurant was open weird hours, or not open when it was supposed to be.

Positives: The hotel room was quite good size-wise for two persons, the bed was comfy and big enough for two friends to sleep beneath each other. Bathroom has been great, except for the slightly dripping sink of our bathtub. Upon report to the hotel reception, they wanted to look into it. It didn't bother us too much, as we closed the bathroom door at night. The nearest metro station is about 12 minute walk away, Farragut West.
Negatives: The windows are not really sound-proof against noise from outside. It always sounded as if the window was halfway open. It's not been too bad though. Also maybe two separate blankets in the double bed would've been better, we didn't ask for a second one though as we sorted it out ourselves.

Positives: Good location, friendly staff
Negatives: A lack of accessible rooms, and an understanding that 2 beds is sometimes necessary for people with disabilities travelling with friends, or even with partners. Pain can keep us awake

Positives: The location is fantastic. Easy walking to coffee shops, retail shops, Metro and about 25 minute walk to the National Mall.
Negatives: The hotel is very old and tired. For the price (almost $300per night), I was expecting much more but the room was very dated. When we arrived, the lady on reception was less than helpful and very stern and we felt we'd ruined her day by arriving to book in! However, when we checked out, the staff were lovely, very helpful and couldn't do enough for us and were very accommodating. It was a shame they were not our first impression. The bathroom was very small, with low ceiling and no fan so once you'd had a shower you couldn't use the bathroom mirror. There was a mirror in the bedroom but no central lighting so was quite dark. The basin wasn't attached to the wall so banged against the back wall if you leant on it. The shelf on the wall was also tilted down as if hanging off the wall so we didn't use it. There is nowhere to put a wash bag other than a tiny ledge above the toilet or on the floor. It was very warm when we were there. There was a huge Air con unit in the room but it was incredibly noisy and just pumped out warm air so we turned it off and opened the window. This was better but noisy at night. Our room, on the 9th floor was next to a service lift so unless you are out until late at night, it is very noisy from about 6.45am until around 10pm. The whole hotel smells of very strong and bad air freshener, particularly the lifts which were sometimes almost too bad to get in as the smell was overpowering. The 9th floor had a very distinct smell of cannabis most nights too! Not sure if that was staff or guests though! All in all, it certainly isn't worth the money if you are on holiday. I think businesses use it more than anything and a one night stay would be fine but I would not recommend it for a holiday, other than for its location. It's a shame as it has the potential for being a very, very good hotel but it is just so dated and shabby around the edges.

Positives: The mattresses are a little too soft. I love the coffee maker, maybe would be nice to have herbal teas at night?
