The location is perfect. Very close to the White House where I was working for the week.

The cleanliness and attention to detail in this hotel are shockingly poor—almost miserable. I was initially advised to stay at a different hotel but chose this chain out of loyalty. Now, I deeply regret that decision. This particular location is especially bad.
There was dust everywhere: on the dresser, coffee machine, the mugs, on top of the bed, and even the nightstands. The bathroom was no better, with mold, rust, and even boogers—YES BOOGERS-one was on the wall the entire time, and another was under the mirror. Unfortunately, I checked in late night and I was supposed to start working next day at 7am so my tight schedule didn’t allow me to look for another hotel. I came back from work at night everyday and I had to endure their miserable cleaning and be extra cautious about what I touched.
I allowed housekeeping into my room, hoping they would resolve the issues without me needing to complain. To my dismay, after they “cleaned,” the dust and even the boogers were still there! What is housekeeping even doing in this hotel? After that I just didn’t trust housekeeping anymore.
To make matters worse, the next day, they dropped off a bag of toilet paper and new bedding outside my room. This is supposed to be a 4-star hotel, not a Motel 6! Am I supposed to change my own bedding? Why wasn’t it done the day before when I let them into the room?
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. If you absolutely have to stay here, be extra careful about what you touch and make sure to wash your hands frequently.
